OUR STORY

The practice was established in the heart of Lexington over 40 years ago in a small 4 room office in Chevy Chase. Dr. Wilkes and his first partner, Dr. Priscilla Lynd, quickly outgrew this space and moved to the practice’s current location on Tates Creek Road. The practice continued to grow and upon Dr. Lynd’s retirement, Dr. Tom Pauly joined the practice. Dr. Pauly practiced for several years until he unfortunately lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2004. This led to another change with Dr. Jeremy Warner joining the practice in 2006.  In 2009 the practice expanded to include Dr. Karry Wilkes, who worked for several years before leaving to pursue other opportunities in Cincinnati. After caring for children for more than 40 years, Dr. James Wilkes retired in July 2020 at which time Dr. Jansen took over his practice, joining Dr. Warner to form Warner and Jansen Pediatrics.
